History
The KELSTON SPARKES GROUP, founded in 1952 has grown from a one-man plant operation into a nationwide family owned concern that today employs over 150 people. The company continues to be guided, as it has been since its beginnings, by the core values exhibited by its founder; customer satisfaction, quality service and commitment to the industry.
Founded by Mr Kelston Sparkes active today as chairman, the company’s day to day operations are currently controlled under the direction of a small dedicated and professional management structure, with Mr Alan Sparkes and Mr Robert Stark as senior directors overseeing the smooth running of the company. As a result of this, timely, informed and on the spot decisions can be made with the minimum of distraction to the business, this allows you the customer a reactive service keeping machines and contracts on schedule and budget.
The company today undertakes contracts both large and small from the individual and national plant hire sectors, major quarrying groups, public sector bodies, national government organisations to name but a few. With contract interests linked from demolition to remediation, from crushing and screening to recycling, from training to surveying.
